Mike and Ryan review the twelvth episode of The O.C! Mike learns more about Ryan when they’re paired for a school history project. Ryan isn’t the macho tough guy he puts out to his friends, but he is quite a nice person with a perfect home life. But things take a sudden turn when Mike and Ryan stumble upon a secret of Ryan’s dad’s homosexuality. The next day, the news of Ryan’s father is the talk of the whole school, resulting in negative reactions to Ryan from his friends. Ryan blames Mike, who denies telling anyone about his father being gay. Meanwhile, guest star Cassie continues to avoid Mike over their disastrous Thanksgiving dinner encounter, while Ryan has some advice for Cassie over her legal problems, which doesn’t sit well with Mike.
