On this week’s episode of The Superhero Show Show, The Taste Buds discuss the premiere of Helstrom!

Hey! There’s actual new TV to watch! And it’s…Helstrom. The show from the line that Marvel has already abandoned, and cancelled the plans for every show except for this one, which was able to sneak out somehow. And that’s too bad. I already miss the time of no TV. Cassie, Mike, and Ryan discuss how well the leads work with each other, and whether or not the show is a little bit scary. But that’s just the main event. In the meantime, we have Part II of our Sabrina the Teenage Witch retrospective! We’re focusing on the final four seasons, which include Sabrina’s senior year of high school, two years of college, and the final season, where she works at a magazine and almost gets married. I bet you’re thinking what I’m thinking: it was a rough week for our Taste Buds. Just so they get a chance to talk about some quality TV, Cassie and the boyz have put together a bracket of the shows of TGIF! For those not in the know, ABC’s TGIF lineup was a very popular night of television, back when that was a thing that was possible. It’s where we got Sabrina the Teenage Witch, along with many other incredible shows, like Full House and Step by Step. Will one of those two titans win the bracket, or does Sabrina have what it takes to win the whole tourney? Only one way to find out!

And for Patreon listeners, Cassie snuck into the studio without the boyz knowing and interviewed their mothers! That’s right, for the first time ever, Mike’s mom and Ryan’s mom are on the show, and discussing what life was like raising the two most important podcasters of our generation. And if the two moms seem like they are the same person, we promise they aren’t. They just have the same voice for some reason.
