The Superhero Show Show #347
X-Men: The Animated Series is the Greatest Show of All Time
The Taste Buds begin their journey through all of X-Men: The Animated Series with Night of the Sentinels, Part I!
Tonight’s main event is a discussion of this week’s episode of The Walking Dead: The World Beyond, but as you can tell, the Taste Buds may be excited about something else. Before they get to that, though, they do have to talk about every single television show based on a comic book that came out this week. On World Beyond, the crew goes back to high school, and the Taste Buds are tasked with deciding whether or not the teenage dialogue rings true. And if wolfs have nards. Then they go right to the Pull List, and provide coverage for Fear the Walking Dead and the second and third episodes of Helstrom. And then it all comes down to this, the reason for The Superhero Show Show’s existence:X-Men: The Animated Series. First, the Taste Buds give a brief history of the show, and talk about what the show means to them. I believe they claim it’s the most important show in history, and then try to back that claim up. Then Cassie runs the Boyz through some X-Men trivia. And it all leads up to a complete breakdown of Night of the Sentinels, Part I! That’s right, they didn’t even have time to get to the second part of the two-part pilot. Just the first one. Running from Sentinels, Jubilee meets Rogue, Gambit, and Storm in the mall, and suddenly finds herself the newest member of the superhero team X-Men!
