Disney Investor Announcement Was More Marvel 616?

The Taste Buds review the third and fourth episodes of Marvel 616!

On a very special episode of The Superhero Show Show, Cassie leads her seventh and twenty-fourth best friends through an excavation about what Marvel thinks about Marvel. They’ve covered Japanese Spider-Men, and women, and Spanish artists, but now it’s time for the two most important parts of Marvel history: Paul Scheer and cosplay. The Taste Buds discuss so many things, such as:

  • Is Paul Scheer a normal person?
  • Did anyone actually ever want a Brute Force movie?
  • Is it actually okay to be married to a cosplayer?
  • Should you dress your dogs in costumes?
  • Can Marvel actually put its own genitalia in its own mouth?

We actually answer all of those questions, and so much more. And that’s enough show right? WRONG!

It’s a Very Disney Christmas!!!

The board decided to force the three friends to gift each other particular things from the big DISNEY INVESTOR DAY. The rule is that they can’t watch anything other than what they’re gifted. Will Mike be able to watch his Marvel stuff? Will Casie be able to watch her Star Wars stuff? Will Ryan be able to watch the soon-to-be-a-hit film Turning Red? Tune in and see what gifts these alleged “friends” give each other.

That’s enough, right?

It absolutely is not. After all of that, the Taste Buds take it upon themselves to come up with all of the documentaries for Marvel 616 season 2! And let me tell you friends, it’s a doozy.

  •  – Does X-Men: The Animated Series get enough credit?
  •  – What if Marvel Coture was a reality show?
  •  – Who the heck are those stunt men and women on all of those sets?
  •  – Is Kirby also Kirby?

All of those ideas, and so many more. But that has to be it for the podcast.

Nope!

Wut?

X-Tasmania

It’s the seventh episode of X-Men: The Animated Series, as Cassie leads the Taste Buds through a journey across Slave Island! Gambit and Jubilee and Storm are slaves and Wolverine has a cold and Professor X is horny and a bunch of white, gross businessmen want all mutants dead, but not before they build their damn. That’s slavery, and that’s how this island works.
