The Superhero Show Show #376: Zack Snyder’s Jupiter’s Legacy

The Superhero Show Show #376

Zack Snyder’s Jupiter’s Legacy

It’s the first episode of Jupiter’s Legacy, plus so much more, on an all-new The Superhero Show Show

On a very special episode of The Superhero Show Show, Katelynn from Unnatural 20’s banged down the door and barged in, all vaxxed up and ready to talk about Netflix’s newest comic book entry, Jupiter’s Legacy! The show did not get great reviews out of the gate, so will Cassie, Katelynn, and the Boyz agree with the majority of critics, or will they find something to like in this Mark Millar adaptation. This is the first television show to be based on his comic books, so the Taste Bud’s opinions on his adaptations begin here! We already know they’re huge Josh Duhamel fans, so that’s a step in the right direction.

Then, the Friends discuss every other television show based on a comic book this week, including reviews of BATWOMAN, BLACK LIGHTNING, FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, THE FLASH, LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, SUPERGIRL, and VAN HELSING! That’s too much show!

But wait…THERE’S MORE…as the Taste Buds return once again to X-TASMANIA, to discuss episode 208 of X-Men: The Animated Series, Time Fugitives Part II! Will Cable make it back in time to unleash a deadly disease that will kill millions so that he can save different millions? Will any of this make sense? And who will win the coveted award for most 90’s thing?

Plus Ryan sat down with Justin and Alicia of the X-Wife Podcast to chat about Justin’s adventures into getting Alicia into X-Men comic books! The husband and wife duo break down the Power of X for Ryan, the trouble with starting a comic journey with Johnathan Hickman, why Professor Xavier is a bastard.

On the regular show, everyone will hear a 15 minutes version of the interview, but if you want to hear the full 30+ minute interview in all of its glory, head over to Patreon!
For every X-Men fan who’s wanted to get their partner into the conversation and every friend or family member who just doesn’t want to read the comics, welcome to The X-Wife podcast.
Alicia has never read an X-Men comic and plans to keep it that way…for now.
Join Justin & Alicia as they dive in breakdown, and question Johnathan Hickman’s new vision of Marvel’s merry mutants on Krakoa. House of X, Powers of X and the Dawn of X, all kick off a story that’s billed as a perfect jumping on point for new readers, but with more than 50 years of continuity that overwrites and contradicts itself, can there ever be a seamless start? Follow the show on IG @thexwifepodcast & Twitter @thexwifepodcast!

So much to discuss on an all-new, all-different Superhero Show Show!
