HEY, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU SHOULD DO?

In which we tell you about awesome things that you must look into and enjoy.

Watch Phineas and Ferb
Now to answer your first question, yes this is a kids TV show. To answer your second question “why should I watch a kids TV show?” Phineas and Ferb is one of the best new shows on television. It’s innovative, it’s smart, and the best thing about it, is it’s funny without having to rely on poop and fart jokes.

Phineas and Ferb centers around two brothers who spend their summer vacation building crazy
contraptions and “driving their sister insane,” and between the zany contraptions the full character development and the amazingly written songs. Let’s not also forget about Perry the Platypus AKA Agent P, he is one of the most emotional characters on the show and he never has spoken a single word in the history of the episode. Dan Povenmire and Jeff “swampy” Marsh have set up a show that is not only great for kids, but parents can watch it with their children, and enjoy it as well. For many years you had television that was created solely for kids, where it was all about counting numbers and guessing what a duck looks like. These two innovative creators decided it was time for something different, it was time for a show that both parents and kids could enjoy. Now because of their revolutionary idea of creating a show for all ages you now have shows like My Little Pony, Phineas and Ferb, and others that allow you to be able to create a bigger fan universe than just 5 year old girls or 7 or 8 year old boys.

Between the running gags, like “Where’s Perry?” or “Aren’t you two kinda young to be [blank],” if you don’t get these jokes watch a couple episodes you will, and the amazing songwriting you get a show that is part amazing part funny and completely worth your time. Another interesting part of these shows is you get character development, Real Character Development, you get to see the reasons behind the characters actions, you see changes in characters throughout the show, you feel something for this little play before your eyes, because no matter how I deny it I do want Candace to finally convince her mother that Phineas and Ferb are actually up to something. With the character Heinz Doofensmirtz alone, Perry the Platypus’s arch nemesis, you feel so bad for, you want him to succeed with every plan, which have become more ridiculous as the show has progressed, it’s great writing. Check it out. He has a back story for every plan he comes up with and it tears at your heartstrings every time you see little Heinz in his town of Dooseldorf, I’m not making this stuff up its really in the show, and how he was wronged by his brother/parents/society etc.

But I digress, there are so many good things about this show, seriously it’s a great show; it really shows that producers are learning and realizing that you can make shows not just for kids or not just for adults but for everybody. -WA
