#398: So Hwacha Hwacha Hwacha Want?

The Superhero Show Show #398

So Hwacha Hwacha Hwacha Want?

It's time for the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead on an all-new The Superhero Show Show!

With Cassie on the run from the law, Mike and Ryan call on James from the Timeline Scavengers to help them get through this week's shows, and find out that James has never watched a second of Walking Dead in his entire life! He double-dips this week, starting with our main event, the mid-season finale of Walking Dead proper. On a dark and stormy zombie night, Darryl and the gang make their last stand against Pope and his crew. They'll have to figure out how to break into his compound, how to get around the fact that God speaks directly to Pope, AND deal with the scariest weapon since someone used a slightly bigger than average pillow in a pillow fight: the hwacha. Will the W.D. Crew be able to get out of the way of a dozen Piccolo Petes lazily flying at them. Tune in and find out!

It's a jam-packed show other than the main event. First, the Taste Buds are making their way through the Bracket 400, the winner of which will be revealed in the 400th episode of this podcast! In tonight's episode, they kick off four shows from the Independent division, and four shows from the Horror division. Then, the Friends hand out the Shushie for Best Actor!

PLUS, Ryan sits down with Alex and Pete from the Comic Book Club to talk about the second season of Locke and Key. Just in time for Halloween, Netflix will release the whole second season next week, and Ryan talks to the guys about what they thought about the first season and their expectations for the second.
