The Superhero Show Show #350
Super Sloppy Walking Dead Double Dare
The Taste Buds review this week’s episode of The Walking Dead: The World Beyond!
On a very special episode of The Superhero Show Show, Cassie looks around for her co-hosts, but can only find Ryan! That simply won’t stand, as Ryan is a handful, and is always letting people know that he’s “too much,” so Cassie…for some reason…recruits her Unnatural 20’s co-hort Katelynn to come on and help handle. But when you have Katelynn and Ryan on the same episode, you have two toddlers and almost no support. This becomes evident immediately when the show starts off with an interview with Katelynn about her severe, borderline psychopathic obsession with the TV show Smallville. Ryan gets into the nitty gritty with Katelynn, and her roommate Cassie, about what life is like when you stop caring about basic needs and only care about a mediocre TV show from the late 80’s. Or late 2010’s? No one knows. No one knows when Smallville came out, and no one cares.
THEN, Cassie and Katelynn tell Ryan to “go screw” as they break down every aspect of this week’s The Walking Dead: World Beyond. They tackle such important questions as
- Is Mountain Dew good?
- Is warm Mountain Dew good?
- Is Mountain Dew responsible for the zombie outbreak?
- Can a show be too boring?
- Is the reason you didn’t have sex in high school because your uncle wasn’t a close-up magician?
They answer many more questions, but that is the big one.
AND THEN
It’s X-Tazmania time folks, as Katelynn is introduced to the show that shaped Mike and Ryan, and didn’t shape Cassie, so you can tell what a great show it is. Katelynn will have to deal with Magneto AND Sabretooth as the X-Men are split apart to fight two villains in the same show. The one thing we know for sure is that there is no way that Katelynn can win the awards competition at the end of the show, right? I mean, she’s never seen it before, and we all know that if she were to win it, we would never hear the end of it.
(The Superhero Show Show co-host Ryan here. I once played a Twilight trivia game with Katelynn. She won – because she was the only one who knew anything about Twilight – but that didn’t stop her from celebrating her victory by making us smell her sweaty socks and telling our moms that we don’t eat vegetables.)
Thanks, Ryan. Back to me. All of that, and reviews of this week’s Fear the Walking Dead, and episode 8 and 9 of Helstrom!
