The Taste Buds each got to pick one of their favorite 2019 movies. The Farewell is Greg’s selection because he was blown away by the naturalistic acting, universal themes, and stunning shot composition. Also, he would just look at Awkwafina for hours, and this is the least creepy way to do that. The boys tackle some of the biggest themes in the movie: why we lie most where we love fiercest and what makes China and America so different (and soooo much the same, really).
