The TasteBudz love Pixar, music, Jamie Foxx, and Tina Fey, but these are never combined all in one movie. But what if I told you shut up they are and it’s in this movie, Soul? Soul looks great on paper and wonderful on screen, but does it have what it takes to take down 2020’s Movie of the Year? When a Pixar movie comes out we expect to be blown away, but does this movie manage to get us there? Or is this a super okay movie?

OK, now I get it. That means this movie is really well named. Think about it: he’s fighting for his soul and then also soul usually applies to music as well. Plus, it’s a short name. People like things to be short, which may be the problem with jazz: too long. People don’t have all day. Most folks don’t even finish longer tweets.

Cookie has yet to make another appearance since First Cow. Maybe I’m the silly one for thinking that a great character in one movie would appear in other movies. Maybe I’m the dumb one. Maybe.
