This week Mike talks to the poet (and old friend) Nancy Woo. Nancy reads a variety of pieces and the two talk about her writing process, performance rituals, persona, and the care a writer needs to take when taking on the role of another. This interview was conducted in October 2016 in Chapman Radio’s recording booth (which is why there’s some room buzz–sorry!), and is another edition of Mike does dumb radio voice.
