#419: The Boys Presents Diabolical

The Superhero Show Show #419

The Boys Presents Diabolical

The Taste Buds discuss Amazon Prime’s new The Boys Presents Diabolical, plus The Batman and The Flash season premiere!

On an all-new episode of The Superhero Show Show, Cassie and the Boyz discuss the new Boys animated anthology show, Diabolical! They watched the first two episodes for review. The first one, written by show creators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, features an old-school Looney Toons homage about a little baby with powers on a construction site. The second one, from Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland, is like an episode of The Boys if it was Rick and Morty. Will Cassie, notorious Boys-hater, prefer her Homelander animated? Tune in to find out!

But before all of that, it’s The Batman time! Mike and Ryan headed out to the theater to see Matt Reeves’ opus. Typically hard on DC movies (because they are rarely good), will Mike and Ryan fall for this Dark Knight like the rest of the world has?

Finally, the Taste Buds talk about the rest of the shows, including new episodes of Resident Alien, Snowpiercer, Naomi, Superman and Lois, The Walking Dead, and The Flash! All of this is too much show, but the Taste Buds try it anyway!
